CARPET CLEANING

Our Carpet Cleaning Process includes these steps:

Pre-Inspection
Our cleaning technicians will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He/She will identify potential stains and give you a realistic evaluation of the expected results.

Pre-Vacuum
Dry soil is removed by a thorough vacuuming. Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in cleaning.

Light Furniture Moving
Our regular pricing includes moving light furniture such as sofas, chairs, coffee-tables and smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Let us know ahead of time if you'll require your larger items moved so that we can prepare & price accordingly.

Pre-Spray
Application of a pre-spray that will suspend the soils from the carpet fibers. We pre-treat the carpet to loosen dirt and oils that vacuum cleaners cannot remove. Dependant on the type of carpeting you have, we'll often use a teflon-rake to agitate the pre-spray into your carpet fibers.

Clean and Extract
We will steam clean your carpet with our truck-mounted hot-water extraction process. Your carpets will be cleaned down to the backing and will also remove deep down bacteria, pollens, and chemicals.

Rinse and Neutralize
Leftover carpet cleaning solutions can act as a magnet for dirt. That's why we apply a pH-balancing fiber rinse that removes carpet cleaning solution residue right along with deep-down dirt. So all that's left behind is cleaner, softer, more beautiful carpet.

Post-Cleaning Inspection
Our cleaning technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.

Drying Time
Most carpets will be dry to the touch in about 2-4 hours. Drying times depend on the degree of soiling and type of carpet.

A Little About Hot Water Extraction (AKA "Steam Cleaning")
Hot water extraction is often referred to as "Steam Cleaning". Actually this is not exactly accurate because actual steam is too dry and too hot to clean carpet properly. Hot water extraction is recommended by most carpet manufacturers and professional carpet cleaners. With this method, hot cleaning solution is sprayed deep into the carpet fibers and is immediately extracted with a powerful vacuum source. The vacuum sucks all of the dirt, cleaning solution, and other particles into a recovery tank and is usually poured into the sanitary waste system. Because this method removes more dirt and contaminants than the other carpet cleaning methods, hot water extraction is favored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is the preferred method of the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

Choice Cleaning Services' professional technicians use safe and proven methods for a deep, healthy cleaning. You can trust our powerful extraction equipment and cleaning solutions to offer the best cleaning available.

1.) Careful and Thorough Pre-testing:
All upholstery being cleaned needs to be identified, examined, and tested for cleanability and sensitivities. You will be clearly informed of our findings and any predictions.

2.) Dry Soil Removal:
Vacuuming is an important part of the cleaning process of all upholstery fabrics. Removing the dry particulates and soil is essential prior to any wet solutions being introduced to the fabric.

3.) Pre-Spotting:
Special cleaning agents will be used in the treatment of stains, spills and spots on the upholstery. Fabric safety will remain paramount while we work to remove persistent spots.

4.) Preconditioning:
The best cleaning will then be applied to suspend soils and loosen any foreign matter.

5.) Rinse Extraction:
A complete and thorough rinse extraction of the upholstery fibers will remove all preconditioning detergent and suspended soils. This is done to remove any sticky residues, which helps to prevent re-soiling.

6.) Application of Fabric Protection:
After the upholstery has been rinsed and extracted, a reapplication of your fabric protection will be applied. This invisible field of protection will assist in the future removal of spots and spills and with your regular vacuuming for dry soil removal.

We can explain the correct cleaning method upon review of your rugs. Some rugs are cleaned on location, and we also offer pickup and delivery service.

PET URINE & ODOR

Pet Urine Odor
Pet odor is a very common problem for people with pets. From minor problems to major headaches Choice Cleaning Services can help find that solution that works best for you.

In many cases our normal cleaning process is all that is needed to correct pet urine problems. The powerful rinsing action of our cleaning system can effectively remove pet urine from carpet fiber completely.

The problem with pet odor is that it can be much deeper than it first appears at first. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet into the padding underneath. In more severe cases the urine can penetrate into the sub-floor beneath the padding. This creates a problem that is multi-layered.

Treatment
To eliminate this problem the urine must be removed or neutralized from each of the layers effected. If the contamination is limited to only the face yarn of the carpet then the cleaning itself may effectively remove the odor. In more severe cases a urine neutralizer may be applied.

In the most severe cases, replacement of the carpet padding, treatment of the under-side of the carpet and the sub-floor may be required. Even replacement of the carpet, however, can not guarantee complete removal of the odor.

At Choice Cleaning Services we offer a range of solutions to help you with your pet odor problems.
